It's not over yet, but I am officially declaring today A Good Day.   Yesterday was NOT A Good Day, which was discouraging given it was only the second of the year, so I am more relieved than I care to admit that this one has turned around.

I'm doomed.

I have access to new PC again, have for a few days now - and haven't made target yet on any of  'em.  I've been up here for 2 hours and have managed 239 words.

I've had a good wander around the net, mind you and read some old stuff of mine.  And decided it was crap.

It's all go here today. Came up to crank up Footling's Nature Diary and do a gentle waffle about pretty birdies in the trees. (List may follow for those who like that kind of thing.) But it turned out not to work that way.  There were some distractions.

Full of wine and bored is not a good combination when it comes to making journal entries. Especially as I just typed 'Full of wind and bored', which is potentially even worse.

But at least I'm not frantic and demented this time around. Hooray! Huzzah! Three cheers and pip pip for meeeeee!

First up:

Seen the pair of robins quite a few times this week, including twenty minutes ago as I was washing the pots. Watching them didn't make it go by any faster (in fact, it probably slowed things considerably, but who cares?) but it was very entertaining. It's gorgeous here today. Bright and still. But our front garden is still covered in frost 'cos it's sheltered from the sun by a high hedge, so it looks sort of fairylike. In a northern garden fairy sort of way.

Might have to venture out for a walk again later.

Saw two robins in the yard last week, too, very close to each other and not fighting. Inspecting leaves and twigs and stuff, in fact.

So - baby robins on the way in the next 2-3 weeks, if the weather picks up.

I've promised myself that I'll update my journal in here, too, so here it goes (yes, it's a duplicate of the other but never mind...)
